I took a course at Rhode Island School of Design focusing on Industrial Design drawing. The goal was to effectively communicate the materials and depth of the objects. Using Prisma markers, pencils, drawing pens and pastels, we learned different techniques to convey realistic textures, ranging from glass to plastics. In addition, we learned how to use masking and tones of colors to digitally convey objects on Adobe Illustrator. We practiced conveying real objects using digital and manual techniques; here is a sample of my drawings and Illustrator mock ups.
